Senior Prof. (Dr) A. Chamaru De Alwis is a Senior Professor in Human Resource Management at the University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka — an academic, researcher, author and supervisor with extensive experience in research methodology, HRM, TQM and management studies. He received the CVCD Excellence Award for Lifetime Achievement as the Most Outstanding Senior Researcher in Management Studies – 2024.

About the Authors
Prof. (Dr) Chamaru De Alwis holds a PhD in Management from Tomas Bata University in Zlín, Czech Republic, and an MSc in Management and BSc in Business Administration from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. Currently a professor at FCMS, University of Kelaniya, with over 130 publications and three books.
Hansaka De Alwis is an intermediate lecturer at Seagis Campus, Nugegoda, and previously HR Officer at Asiri Surgical Hospital PLC. He holds a BBA (Hons) in Marketing from the University of Colombo and is a Chartered Intermediate in HRM (CIPM Sri Lanka).
